150 youths involved in brawl in downtown Kitchener: Waterloo police

Waterloo police said 150 people gathered in downtown Kitchener in a brawl on Thursday morning.

Police reported the incident on Twitter just before noon and told people to stay away from Eby Street and King Street East as several youths with guns were involved in a fight.

About half an hour later, the police released a second tweet saying that 150 teenagers were involved in the fight that took place around 11 a.m.

They confirmed guns were involved and said two teenagers had been rushed to hospital with injuries.

Police also asked anyone who might have witnessed the brawl or dashcam footage from the area to report.
