2 teens left injured after ‘targeted’ shooting incident in Kitchener: police

Two teenagers were injured in a shooting in Kitchener over the weekend, according to Waterloo police.

According to the police, officials reacted to shots that were fired at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday in Huberstrasse.

When police arrived at the scene, officers found a 17-year-old Kitchener boy with injuries.

They said he had been rushed to a hospital outside the area to treat serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

In addition, the police were called after a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound went to a local hospital.
