As the Civic Holiday approaches, here’s a rundown of what is open and closed on the Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo Holidays.

What is open and closed on Civic Holiday throughout the Waterloo Region?

The Waterloo International Airport region will remain open.

Grand River Transit and GO Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule.

The GRT Customer Service Centers in Kitchener (105 King St. E.) and Cambridge (35 Ainslie St. S.) are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be regular roadside rubbish collection, so take your rubbish out by 7 a.m.

The Cambridge and Waterloo landfills will be closed to residential surrender.

All Waterloo area offices, library locations, children’s centers and employment centers will be closed.
