GoFundMe set up for Kitchener woman killed in motorcycle crash
OPP say a pickup hauling a horse trailer collided head-on with a motorcycle near Caledon
A GoFundMe page has been set up for a Kitchener woman who lost her life in a crash outside of the region.
Ontario Provincial Police have identified her as 36-year-old Nichole Hartung.
“On Sunday Nikki Hartung, tragically lost her life unexpectedly leaving behind her sons Sean and Anthony, her mother Maureen, her father John, the love of her life Dom, not to mention all those who’s lives she touched over many years,” reads the fundraising page.
OPP say a pickup truck hauling a horse trailer collided head-on with a motorcycle that afternoon on Highway 9 near Highway 50, near Caledon.
The GoFundMe was set up by Hartung’s family who say they are looking to cover expenses.
The page has a goal of $10,000.
Caledon OPP are asking any witnesses and anyone with dashcam video to contact them.
