Kitchener driver charged with speeding on Highway 69

A driver from southwestern Ontario faces charges following a traffic stop on Highway 69.
Nipissing West OPP said officers pulled a vehicle over shortly before 10:30 pm on Monday for traveling 46 kms/hr over the speed limit in the French River area.
The 30-year-old driver, from Kitchener-Waterloo, was also found to have a suspended licence.
Police charged the individual for speeding as well as driving while under suspension.
The accused was issued a provincial summons and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury on Feb. 7.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days at the cost of the owner.
