Kitchener man arrested in connection with recent road rage incident on Highway 85

Waterloo Regional Police say they made an arrest in connection with a road traffic incident in Kitchener, Ontario.

Police reported that at around 6:50 p.m. on September 12, two drivers were involved in a traffic accident on Highway 85.

They said the drivers, sitting in a white Volkswagen and a brown Toyota, got off the highway at the Bridgeport Road exit and started arguing.

A co-driver got out of the Volkswagen and is said to have threatened the other driver with a BB gun. According to the police, no casualties were reported in the confrontation.

Police announced an arrest on the case on Monday. A 23-year-old from Kitchener faces multiple charges, including outright threats, under $ 5,000 mischief, assault with a gun, dangerous weapons and aiming a firearm.
