Kitchener man arrested in connection with weekend stabbing on Paulander Drive

A man will be charged in connection with a knife-stabbing incident in Kitchener over the weekend, according to Waterloo police.

Police were called to a house on Paulander Drive late Sunday evening for a report of a knife stab.

According to the police, they found two injured men. One was a 56-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times and the other was a 38-year-old man with injuries to his forearm.

According to the police, the two men were taken to nearby hospitals with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

They say a 28-year-old Kitchener man was arrested at the scene and faced serious assault and murder charges.

He was also wanted on a pending arrest warrant.

Police say the men all knew each other but did not provide any details about the relationship.
