Kitchener man charged after altercation involving ‘large group of individuals’

Two victims sustained minor injuries, while a third was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a reported physical alteration involving a large group of individuals in Kitchener.

According to police, that report saw officers respond to the area of ​​Duke Street East and Scott Street on Saturday morning around 2:35 am

Upon arrival, officers located two victims with minor injuries – while a third victim had their property taken. That third victim was transported to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Through their investigation, police arrested and charged a 25-year-old man from Kitchener with robbery.

The investigation is still ongoing – anyone with information is being asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
