Philadelphia Ranked 20th Best City To Celebrate 4th Of July, WalletHub Report Finds – CBS Philly

KITCHENER (CBS) – In 2020, the July 4th celebrations were not the same due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But now that a sense of normalcy has returned thanks to vaccination efforts across the country, the upcoming holidays should be filled with fireworks, barbecue parties, and other events.

And if you’re looking to go on vacation, WalletHub, a personal finance website, has released a report on the best and worst places to go for the July 4th celebrations in 2021.

Philadelphia ranked 20th out of 100 cities.

WalletHub ranked cities based on how well they balance vacation spending and fun. The metrics used ranged from the cost of alcohol, the duration of the fireworks, and the possible weather forecast for the vacation.

The three most popular cities that celebrated Independence Day were New York, San Francisco, and Chicago.
