Kitchener’s Sarah Pavan defeats Dutch duo in first beach volleyball game at Tokyo Olympics

Kitchener-born Sarah Pavan and her partner Melissa Humana-Paredes got off to a strong start to the Olympics, winning their first women’s beach volleyball game for Canada at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Kitchener-born Sarah Pavan and her partner Melissa Humana-Paredes got off to a strong start in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, winning the first women’s beach volleyball game for Canada.

The pair defeated Dutch duo Katja Stam and Raisa Schoon 2-0 and are now number one in the Canadian team.

Next up are Germany.
