Man arrested after gun-related incident in Kitchener during Thursday rush hour

Waterloo Regional Police say they made an arrest in connection with another incident related to a street anger related to gun violence that occurred Thursday during rush hour in Kitchener.

Officers were called to Homer Watson Boulevard and Bleams Road at around 5:25 p.m. after it was reported that a man was driving a vehicle when he shot another driver with a gun.

Kitchener man arrested in connection with recent traffic accident on Highway 85

Police say they arrested a 25-year-old man and he is facing multiple charges, including making threats, possessing a gun for a dangerous purpose, and possession of a firearm.

Last month, two men got into an argument on Highway 85 before getting off the Bridgeport Road exit and arguing.

A passenger in one of the vehicles got out and is said to have threatened the other driver with a BB gun.

A 23-year-old Kitchener man was arrested a little over a week later and charged with several criminal offenses, including threats and attacks with a gun.
