Police ask public for security, doorbell camera footage of Kitchener shooting

Waterloo Regional Police are asking the public for help in their investigation of a Kitchener shooting.

On Sunday at 11:30 pm, police received a report of shots fired near Mooregate Crescent and Hazelglen Drive.

Upon arrival, police located two adult men with gunshot wounds, who were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe that this was a targeted incident and are asking residents in the area to check their security or doorbell cameras for any video or images of suspicious persons or activity.
