Regional police responded to two suspected overdose deaths on Wednesday – including a call in Kitchener and one in Wellesley Township
Waterloo Regional Police have emphasized the significance of carrying naloxone should you or someone you know be using drugs – after responding to two suspected overdose deaths on Wednesday morning.
According to police, officers responded to a call in the area of King Street East and Ottawa Street North in Kitchener Wednesday morning – as well as a separate suspected overdose of death in the Gerber Road and Nafziger Road area of Wellesley Township.
In one of those incidents, regional police said they located a substance believed to be green fentanyl.
