Police seek male suspect following assault in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police have released a suspect description following a reported assault in the King Street East and Benton Street area of ​​Kitchener

Regional police are now seeking a male suspect – as they continue to investigate an assault that took place in downtown Kitchener.

According to police, officers responded on Wednesday evening to the area of ​​King Street East and Benton Street for a report of an assault.

It’s alleged the victim was assaulted by an unknown man while walking in the King Street East area.

That suspect has been described as a white man with a lean build and spiky blonde hair, standing roughly six feet tall. It’s also noted that the suspect was wearing jean shorts.

Anyone with information connected to the incident, or who may have witnessed the assault, is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
