Region to host October Job Fair on Thursday
Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and to prepare for on-the-spot interviews – as the Region of Waterloo hosts a Multi-Employer Job Fair in Kitchener
Looking to assist local employers and job seekers in making a connection, the Region of Waterloo will be hosting a “Multi-Employer Job Fair” this Thursday in Kitchener.
Marking the sixth such job fair organized this year by the region, that event will be held in person between 1 pm and 4 pm at the Victoria Hills Community Centre, featuring more than 20 employers.
According to Carolyn Schoenfeldt, the director of employment & income support with the Region of Waterloo, a similar event in September saw more than 760 job seekers in attendance.
“Employers across many industries are finding it challenging to recruit employees,” said Schoenfeldt. “We’re thrilled to continue to work with our partners to offer this series and provide support for the community.
Those looking to attend the October Job Fair are encouraged to bring copies of their resume – and to be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.
You can find more information including a full list of employers, positions and company websites through the Region of Waterloo.
