Three arrested on drug charges in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested three people in Kitchener for drug offenses.

At around 1:30 a.m. on August 7, 2021, members of the Central Division of the Neighborhood Police and emergency response team answered a call in the King Street East and Riverbank Drive area.

As a result of the investigation, about half a pound of suspected crystalline methamphetamine and an undisclosed amount of cash were confiscated.

A 28-year-old Gray County woman was arrested on a pending arrest warrant and charged with trafficking in her possession.

A 28-year-old man from Simcoe County was charged with trafficking property.

A 36-year-old man from Gray County was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
