Two hurt in Kitchener collision Tuesday morning

Waterloo Police say they are still investigating a collision on River Road East in Kitchener.

It happened around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.

A Mazda 3 driven by a 30-year-old Kitchener man was driving west on River Road near Krug Street when it allegedly collided with two parked cars and caused significant damage.

In the collision itself, the driver and his passenger, a 33-year-old man, were injured.

Both were hospitalized with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Speed ​​and alcohol are examined as factors for the collision.
