Wilson Avenue is now closed between Goodrich Drive and Wabanaki Drive for a police investigation and hydro repairs
Regional police are now investigating a collision in Kitchener – after a vehicle reportedly left the roadway and struck two hydro poles.
That collision occurred on Friday afternoon on Wilson Avenue, resulting in power lines being downed in the area. According to police, the driver of the involved vehicle sustained minor injuries.
As the investigation continues, police have closed Wilson Avenue between Goodrich Drive and Wabanaki Drive.
They’ve since asked drivers to avoid the area, noting that closure will be in effect for some time as hydro crews make repairs.
