Where and when to find food trucks this summer in Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph

Mean longer days and warmer weatherAnother summer staple is on the way.

Food trucks will soon be parked near you.

Here is a list of where to find food trucks in Waterloo Region and Guelph this summer:

Regular weekly events

Everyone Monday beginning 2.May, Food trucks begin parking at Forest Hill United Church at 121 Westmount Road. E. in Kitchener from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event known as the Food Truck Frenzy was hit last year and returns next Monday with 10 trucks to kick off the season.

Everyone Monday From June 20th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., food trucks will be parked in the car park of Christ The Savior Orthodox Chuch, 96 Dunbar Road South, Waterloo.

Everyone Wednesday from May 18, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. there are food trucks at Parkminster United Church at Erb St. E. 275 in Waterloo.

Everyone Wednesday beginning 8th June, there are food trucks in the area from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a weekly charity event at Guelph’s Priory Park Baptist Church at 8 Torch Lane

Everyone Thursday beginning May 26:

  • A food truck will be parked near the Spur Line Trail at 150 Roger Street next to Ambrosia Pastry for the Truck Eats Cool Treats event from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Check the schedule here.
  • Railway station on Thursdays returns by Aug 25 with food trucks parked at Erb Street West Station and Father David Bauer Drive for weekly lunches from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Everyone Friday beginning 3rd of June, From noon there is food truck for concerts in downtown Guelph near St. George’s Square. These events last until July 22nd.

One day festivals

On Saturday May 28th, St. George’s of Forest Hill Anglican Church hosts a Kitchener Food Truck Festival with Fo ‘Cheezy, Fo’ Freezy, Schmuck Truck, Cafe du Monde Creperie and Breakfast Blues and BBQs.

On Sunday May 29th, Guelph moderated the Big Downtown Food Truck Picnic, from 11.30 a.m., with eight trucks in the exhibition park.

On Saturday 4th June, the Summer Lights Movie Under the Stars event in Victoria Park starts at 9:00 p.m. There are also several food trucks on offer.

On Saturday June 11th the King Streatery Food Truck Rally takes place on King Street from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM

On Saturday June 18th, Residents will be able to see the Summer Lights Festival in downtown Kitchener, which includes food trucks.

On Sunday, September 18 the Outlaw Food Truck Picnic returns to Civic District Park on Queen Street between Center in the Square and the Kitchener Public Library. The event lasts from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
