The Waterloo Regional Police Department robbery has made an arrest following a robbery at a restaurant in Kitchener.
At around 9 p.m. on July 28, 2021, police responded to a report of a robbery on a restaurant in the area of Highland Road West and Fischer-Hallman Road.
Through an investigation, the police found that a female suspect entered the restaurant and stole an unknown amount of money from the counter area. When an employee tried to stop the suspect, the woman attacked the employee. The employee suffered minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 30-year-old Kitchener woman was arrested and charged with robbery.
